The Puppies will have received their 1st round of puppy vaccinations. The vaccine administered protects against: Distemper, Canine Adenovirus Type 2 (CAV-2), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus.


A puppy's vaccination schedule typically includes the following ages:

  • 6–8 weeks: The first dose of the DHP vaccine, which protects against distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza 
  • 9–11 weeks: The second dose of the DHP vaccine 
  • 12–15 weeks: The third dose of the DHP vaccine 
  • 16–20 weeks: The fourth dose of the DHP vaccine 
  • 12 months: A booster dose of the DHP vaccine, or 12 months after the last puppy shot 
  • 3–6 months: The rabies vaccine, which is required by law in all 50 US states 
  • 1 year later: A booster dose of the rabies vaccine 
  • Every 1–3 years: Additional booster doses of the rabies vaccine

We feed our dogs Diamond Naturals Lamb & Rice. We feel like this recipe is the best cost to nutrition ratio on the market. You are welcome to switch your new pup to whichever brand you find best. In your welcome home puppy bag we will include a bag of food to get your pup transitioned to a new type of food if you would like to switch. You will want to mix new food with the Diamond Naturals to avoid digestive upset!

The pups are dewormed every 2 weeks from birth to prevent against intestinal parasites.   Fenbendazole Suspension 10%

(100mg/mL) is administered by the puppy’s weight. Most vets will deworm routinely at their vaccination visits.

The puppies will be ready to go around 6 weeks of age  We can arrange a pick up date closer to then. We will send them home with a bag of starter food, a collar, leash, and some toys (new) they are used to playing with here.  There will also be a folder containing vaccination information, deworming information, microchip information and registration application.
